The MSMGF seeks to raise awareness about the relationship between HIV and viral hepatitis, and the implications for the wellbeing of gay men and other MSM. This webinar will serve as a basic introduction to Hepatitis B and C. The presentation is designed for advocates and service providers who would like to learn more about this topic. This presentation is introductory and therefore will not cover detailed clinical or advanced research information.

The presentation will offer the following:

• Develop a basic understanding of Hepatitis B and C
• Provide an overview of co-infection of HIV with Hepatitis B and C

• Highlight the implications of co-infection for gay men and other men who have sex with men (MSM
• Outline policy and programmatic recommendations for co-infection for gay men and other MSM

The presentation will feature an opportunity for audience participation using the webinar chat function.

The webinar will last 45 minutes and feature a visual and audio slide presentation followed by a question and answer period. To view the visual presentation, you need an internet connection. To listen to the audio portion, you will need to connect via telephone.
